K2 Hockey Clinics head instructors have extensive hockey backgrounds as well as strong teaching credentials. All clinics are delivered so that each player can learn, improve and have fun through challenging and safe lessons.
Professional Instructors Profiles
Kevin Knibbs (K2 Director)
Director of K2 Hockey Clinics, Kevin has Directed or instructed hockey schools for the past 30 years. He played professional hockey in the Premier Division in Germany, Varsity hockey at the University of Manitoba & Senior A and Junior A. He has coached male and female hockey teams at the AAA level. has a Bachelor of Education Degree and teaches High School in High River, AB.
Ryan Olynyk (Head Instructor)
Ryan played Varsity hockey for the University of Alberta Golden Bears and has instructed hockey schools for the past 17 years. He has coached female hockey teams at the AAA level. He has a Bachelor of Education degree and is presently teaching High School in Calgary, AB.
Glen Williamson (Head Instructor)
Glen played Varsity hockey for the University of Brandon Bobcats then went on to coach in the NHL with the Winnipeg Jets, Team Canada, DEL in Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Western Professional Hockey League, Australia and was a scout for the Los Angeles Kings of the NHL. He has a Bachelor of Education degree and presently teaches in the Foothills School Division.
Judd Casper (Head Instructor)
Judd played Varsity hockey for the University of Calgary Dinosaurs and Junior A with the Portland Winterhawks and the Regina Pats. Judd has instructed hockey schools for the past 16 years. He has a Bachelor of Education degree and is presently teaching Junior High School in Calgary.
Danika Knibbs (Head Instructor)
Danika played Alberta Major Midget Female AAA and Tier 1 in the Southern Alberta Women's Hockey League. She has been instructing all ages and levels for eight years with K2 Hockey Clinics and Black Elk Hockey School. In 2009 she was an assistant coach with the Bantam Sydney Ice Bears in Sydney, Australia. She is presently attending the University of Saskatchewan and is enrolled in the Faculty of Education.
